So I just got back from a 40 minute run and today was the first time that I felt like a runner. I am not say that it was not hard or even enjoyable but something clicked. Although I am super sore from the Bar Method class I took yesterday, my legs felt great! I continual felt like I had the energy to take the next step and had a bounce in my stride. I am still not convinced that running can become addicting but I almost enjoyed it.
So as many of you know, I recently turned 28 years old. Now that I am one year wiser, I have recommitted myself to training. Yes, I have been running but it has been a struggle. I continue to get blisters which make it very painful to run. I keep taking time off to let my feet heal which only makes my longer runs that much more difficult. So on my 28th birthday, I decided my new motto is "no pain, no gain." I will continue to push on but after this is all said and done, I am going to have to rethink this running thing. Thanks for all of the support. Karly
